Welcome to Coominya State School.
I started as the Principal of this beautiful school in 2024. From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed and accepted as part of the Coominya family, and I am confident you will too.
We work closely with our families to support both the academic achievement of our students, and their social and emotional wellbeing and development. Our multi-age classrooms allow staff to cater for individalised needs and, just like a family, our littliest people can learn from our older students while our older students care for and lead the way for our little ones.
If you are looking for an encouraging and welcoming learning environment, where your student will be both supported and challenged, then I encourage you to drop in and say g'day.
